Alice Ross
BLibArtSci(Psych)(Hons1), MClinPsych, MAPS, AHPRA

Alice prioritises creating a calm, safe, and genuine setting during therapy sessions, and helps people to manage their experiences with anxiety, low mood, grief and difficulties with self-esteem. She works with adults using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to help them process difficult and complex experiences from their past. Alice has conducted research into the experiences of young women who are autistic and experience anxiety, and she welcomes those with similar experiences.

Alice is aware that each person is unique, so she strives to use a collaborative and diversity-affirming approach, including for those who identify as LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, or who are from different cultural backgrounds. With experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and components of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Alice formulates an individual’s treatment approach to best suit their needs.

Alice completed her psychology undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and an associate member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
