Jimeoin is a Registered Psychologist who has experience working in private practice, non-government organisations and occupational rehabilitation. Jimeoin provides psychological intervention for a variety of mental health challenges across the lifespan, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, anger management, substance use trauma/PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, ADHD/ODD, behaviours of concern, psychotic features and at risk clients.

Jimeoin’s therapeutic approach with clients focuses on their individual goals, needs and strengths with a particular attention to building a positive therapeutic relationship. Jimeoin draws on a variety of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to provide strategies that best suit each individual client. Jimeoin’s aim is to assist clients in building skills and solutions to improve their wellbeing and functioning across their personal, social and professional lives.

Jimeoin has a keen interest in using digital tools to support therapy, where relevant, including those that are computer and mobile phone based. The goal of these tools is to help clients connect with their progress and have accessible means of practicing the important skills learnt throughout therapy.

Jimeoin completed his studies in Queensland, obtaining a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of the Sunshine Coast and holds a Masters of Professional Psychology from the University of Southern Queensland.
