Joe is a warm and compassionate clinical psychology registrar who strives to provide a safe, supportive, and positive environment. He enjoys connecting with people of all ages and from all walks of life, hearing their stories and working collaboratively in creating the change clients are seeking to overcome difficulties and challenges in their lives. Joe aims to help clients maximise their human potential to build a sense of well-being and live a rich and meaningful life.

Joe works with adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress, substance use, addiction, emotion management, self-harm, perfectionism, peer relationships, social difficulties, as well as self-esteem and identity concerns. Joe has had experience working with adults in inpatient and outpatient settings in psychiatric hospitals, as well as children, adolescents, and young adults in non-government organisations.

Joe adopts a flexible and collaborative approach in his treatment for adolescents and adults, drawing from various modalities to best meet his client’s unique needs and concerns. Modalities include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based interventions, and Schema Therapy.

Joe completed his Honours in Psychology and his Masters in Clinical Psychology at the Australian Catholic University, Sydney. He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
