Elise is a warm, compassionate, and authentic psychologist who is dedicated to providing individuals, of all ages and backgrounds, with a safe and non judgemental space to feel seen, heard, and supported. She takes great care to develop a collaborative and individualised approach to treatment, which is in alignment with the unique needs, values, and goals of each individual.
Elise has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young people, adults, and families, across inpatient, outpatient, forensic, and private practice settings. She works with individuals presenting with a range of difficulties including trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, and substance use and addiction.
Elise is passionate about person-centred, humanistic, and trauma-informed treatment. She works with each individual at their own pace and draws upon a range of evidence-based treatments to best support the needs of her clients. Elise is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed psychotherapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).
