Kim Wuyts
Kim Wuyts is a registered psychologist (clinical registrar) who brings a
compassionate, person-centred and collaborative approach to her work with
adolescents and adults. Kim offers a warm and supportive therapeutic space where
clients can explore challenging experiences and emotions, develop greater self-
awareness, and work towards healing and growth.
Kim has experience working across a range of settings, including university
counselling services, public health, and community settings. She has supported
clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, trauma, self-
esteem difficulties, adjustment difficulties, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and
health-related adjustments.
Kim’s work is grounded in evidence-based approaches and in strong-rapport-
building. She draws on a range of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
(CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
(DBT) and mindfulness. She aims to tailor therapy to each individual, supporting
clients to develop practical skills, emotional awareness, and greater flexibility in
responding to life’s challenges.
Kim holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney,
a Graduate Diploma in Psychology Advanced (Deakin University) and Graduate
Diploma of Psychology from Monash University. She is registered with the Australian
Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) as well as being a member of the
Australian Psychology Society (APS).
